BTW, What is your lap? i'm also planing to install Win 7 to my laptop ASAP (waiting untill get a free time). Originally came with Vista 32bit...It's HPDV6607TX...But couldn't find any drivers for lap? Hope vista drivers will be OK...What about u? Did u lucky enough to find Win 7 drivers or you installed Vista Drivers? Sorry for going off topic buddy...

machan my one is acer aspire 5738.. i bought it 2 weeks ago .it cames with linux bootup..win7 is best machan..no conflicts since I installed.. I'm using pirate copy that's the issue vista sucks machan i hate vista !! u can find win7 drivers@HP no doubt !! I got win7 from Acer web site !

Just connect the PC with cables and use Lap with Wi-Fi...like me...

machan my one is acer aspire 5738.. i bought it 2 weeks ago .it cames with linux bootup..win7 is best machan..no conflicts since I installed.. I'm using pirate copy that's the issue vista sucks machan i hate vista !! u can find win7 drivers@HP no doubt !! I got win7 from Acer web site !

I checked it out machan, but there are no drivers for 7, but they says Lap is compatible with 7...

I have face same prob. Microsoft have blacklist that OEM version. So u have to find out Windows 7 Activator and activate it. I used this method and now its working fine
