  1. Open the Start menu: Control-Esc
  2. Take a screenshot (photo) of your screen: Alt-PrtScr (Print Screen)
  3. Switch between your open programs: Alt-Tab
  4. Quit the program you're currently in: Alt-F4
  5. Delete an item permanently: Shift-Delete
  6. Lock the computer: Windows Logo-L
  7. Opens Windows Task Manager: Control-Shift-Esc
  8. Rename an object: F2
  9. Open Windows Explorer: Windows Logo-E
  10. To find files or folders: Windows Logo-F
  11. To minimize all open windows and display the desktop: Windows Logo-D
  12. To open the task-switching window and switch over to another running program: Alt-Tab
  13. To copy a file: Press and hold down the CTRL key while you drag the file to another folder
