Try to access your hotmail account and make sure your ID is activated. Hopefully when you try to access your hotmail account the error will resolve machang. Try it...!!

This is the last resort... If thi didn't work.. then dont use live messenger again

Open windows host file with Notepad: C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\ho*sts
Go to the file and use "open with" to open it with the notepad

Add these 2 lines to the bottom:

65.54.239.80 messenger.hotmail.com
65.54.239.80 dp.msnmessenger.akadns.net

Save it and restart msn

Remember to remove those two lines when the msn service gets back to normal.
