There were incompatibilities with some of the well known software suites for XP, but I could find alternatives to all the categories. However, the gaming performance was terrible. Maybe still a bit better than the previous builds. But since my video card is not a good (fast) one, I can't afford even a 5% drop in  performance. So I gave up Vista. Back to XP. XP is still very fast to get the things done; not to say that the performance of Vista is not good, but MS have increased the number of steps you need to follow, to get certain taks done.</blockquote>
