I did. I just did. Still haven't configured it as I had XP. Still haven't installed any programs either. Will tell you guys how things work out, unless other people have their opinions posted before me.
But all are welcome to post their experience, so maybe someone can help resolve a particular problem the poster faced.
I installed it in a dual boot setup. By this I don't mean that I'm only gonna use Vista as a test OS. The other OS I have installed is XP, and this is just to change certain things of Vista that I can't do within Vista (eg: mount a partition in the D:\Users folder to keep the profiles seperated in case I need to reformat), and also for a failsafe in case Vista goes haywire.
People with nVidia cards, don't install the RC1 drivers that are available at nVidia's website. People have claimed that the GUI ran slower than before, after installing those drivers. I don't know what impact it has on the gaming though. Anywa, try to play safe, as IMO, this OS is more fragile than XP.
Cheers,
Anusha
