It is not easy to remove UBUNTU when you install it with windows. UBUNTU will move windows boot files to its own location. And then when you remove ubuntu you can load XP. I experienced that. Don't know whether there is a proper way to uninstall UBUNTU.

    UBUNTU is coooooooooooool. i mean it's very very fast browsing , etc..........

    all the activities are faster than windows

    Most new distros will mount cd roms,pen drives, flash cards automatically. If you have gnome or kde desktops then you get the automounting facility with them. If not you can install the pmount package and get the auto mounting on any other desktops or CLI.

    Ubuntu is not another program that you can remove from add/remove programs. Its a complete OS. so the standard procedures in removing a OS has to be followed.
    Basically update the boot record so that it will boot directly to the other os and then format the partition ubuntu is installed on.

    Linux use karapan macha. when you are sing linux you can easily can become a genius, Bcus it runs under computers basic level ,
    Best thing is install linux and Windows both..
    Best Linux Version is Fedora or Red Hat...

    perhaps it is because you have messed up the boot-up process. incorrect network configuration,etc can make your boot up process longer and longer.......... optimized ubuntu will boot up in seconds.
