Workers cannot beat inflation unless they ask for wages in Gold and silver coins. Since money printing central bank has started people's real wages are going down across the world. There is no point in trying to peg Sri Lankan Rupees into US Dollar. That is what layman thinks. It is better to ask wages in Gold and Silver coin. That is real money where there is no printing press. Bitcoins can be wiped out with electronic warfare,hacking and microwave bombs if there was war.People can lock their sweat with Gold and Silver coins. When countries had gold standard all countries were stable. There were less likely to have inflation since there was limited amount of gold and silver.
