Most Expensive Toilets in the World

    Toto Neorest 600 – $5,000

What more do you need, when doing your business, than your standard lavatory offers? Toto’s most expensive toilet, the Neorest 600, has a wide range of features to answer that question. For starters, the lid automatically opens whenever you approach the toilet. As soon as you rise from your state of the art porcelain throne, it automatically engages its Power Catalytic Air Purifier function. Six seconds after you’re out of range of the toilet’s sensor zone, it will automatically flush and close both the lid and the seat.
For those functions that aren’t automatic, there’s a wireless remote control. A button-press can open, close or warm the seat, change the water temperature, perform a powerful “Cyclone flush” instead of the automatic light flush or control the Washlet functions you’ll use to tidy yourself up after using the expensive toilet.

Hang Fung Gold Toilet – around $5 million

This 24k gold toilet is a feature of Hang Fung jeweler’s solid gold bathroom in Hong Kong. The company had the toilet made when gold was merely $200 per ounce and planned to melt it down if gold ever reached $1,000 per ounce. When the price of gold neared the $1,000 mark in early 2008, however, the company stated that they would not have it melted down. One ton of the golden bathroom accessories surrounding the toilet would be melted down instead.

International Space Station Toilet – $19 million

What may just be the most expensive toilet ever built isn’t the world’s most expensive toilet. That’s because it’s being launched into space! The toilet system NASA had built by Russia was delivered to the international Space Station in November 2008. The system, the same as the one in place on the Russian side of the station, recycles urine into water. It will replace a toilet system that has broken twice in 2008.

    Top 5 Most Expensive Toys

    5. Toy Soldier

So you have a few boys who just love to wage war with their military action figure. Here we have the most expensive toy soldier in the world. It was the creation of Don Levine and was the 1963 G.I. Joe prototype. Levine sold the prototype to Baltimore businessman Stephen A. Geppi on August 7, 2003 during an auction performed by Heritage Comics Auctions of Dallas, Texas. The prototype was purchased for $200,000. 00 USD. When Levine created his toy soldier, he created it on his ping-pong table. The soldier measured 11 ½ inches tall and had 21 movable parts. Not only did this G.I. Joe have movable parts but he also wore a hand stitched Sergeants uniform. Now is that a toy to die for?

How many times have you gotten one of the thousands of PEZ Dispenser varieties in your stocking on Christmas? Well, if you love them as many collectors do, then the 1982 World’s Fair Astronaut B PEZ Dispenser is for you. It was on the auction block on eBay and is one of the only two known to have been created. One has a white helmet and green stem. It is believed to have been a prototype to The World’s Fair board. The PEZ dispenser was never put into production and was received from former PEZ employees as stated by the auction. The winning bid for the world’s most expensive PEZ Dispenser: $32,205.00 USD.

    1. Star Wars Movie Prop

Forget figures this holiday, your little Star Wars fan wants collectible movie memorabilia! So, in that case, get him this: The Darth Vader fighting helmet from The Empire Strikes Back. It’s only a mere $115,000, and was used extensively throughout the climactic fight sequences in the film. It was specially created to allow Bob Anderson, the Olympic fencing champion who took over the role of Darth Vader for the fight sequences, clearer vision. Most Expensive Hot Dog

The most expensive hot dogs in history weren’t exactly special. Sure, they were limited items available for only a few days in Stockholm. Sure, it cost 999 Swedish kronor ($130 USD at the time) to get one. The pricey hot dogs, however, were no better than your average street vendor may sell you.

The expensive hot dogs were part of a United Nations initiative to highlight global poverty. The idea was that, for one of the billion people worldwide who live on less than a dollar a day, paying the standard price of a hot dog would be like your average, comfortably living individual paying $130. These expensive hot dogs were available from in September, 2005, from the United Nations Development Programme’s Nordic Office. They were sold by a number of Swedish celebrities and politicos,

    Most Expensive Refrigerator

If you’re one of the richest of the rich, your kitchen is no doubt full of expensive appliances for all your culinary needs—and that’s just the one you use to make your snacks. Unfortunately for you, it’s not yet complete if you don’t have the world’s most expensive refrigerator.

Northland, a 100-year-old provider of custom refrigerators, has really outdone itself with this 72” side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. It has a glass door and stainless steel wrap, features “daylight” interior lighting and easily cleaned glass shelves. The spacious fridge has a total capacity of 48.3 cubic feet.

So how much is the most expensive refrigerator in the world? At just under $11,000, you’ve no excuse NOT to buy this fancy refrigerator—unless you’re Joe Six-Pack, Joe the Plumber or Joe the Guy Who Writes Things on the Internet.

Magnetic Floating Bed – $1.6 million

    expensive-floating-bed.jpg

The 2006 Millionaire Fair in Kortrijk, Belgium saw the debut of a magnetic floating bed that pretty much takes the cake for the coolest bed in the world—and the most expensive. Conventional beds and mattresses haven’t changed much over the years, and that’s where Dutch architect Janjaap Ruijssenaars comes in. The goal in his project was to make a usable piece of furniture that wasn’t constrained by the laws of gravity.

Ruijssenaars reportedly worked on the technology for six years in collaboration with Bakker Magnetics. Permanent opposing industrial-strength magnets allow the bed to float around 1.3 feet off the floor while holding almost 2,000 lbs. This aesthetically pleasing technology could also be applied to other areas in home furnishings like coffee tables, sofas, and Japanese dining tables. How cool would it be to eat sushi and drink sake off a floating table?
