Torque!! thats the name of the movie I was looking for to add to my worst movies list. Absolutely horrible movie. I added fight club to replace this one since I couldnt remember the name.

agreed :yes: these guys should see movies like point break and learn a thing or two.

and how come flight club is one of worsts really?

There's Terminator franchise which is pretty good.

yeah ..was the later movies any good?

The whole premise of Fight Club, with the split personalities actually beating each other is just too unbelievable. Especially the beatings he's supposed to make on himself. With the plot unbelievable, the movie crumbles despite everything else.

the whole Terminator series is pretty good, even though Arnie's age was very much visible in T3.

but that movie had good acting and directing ..and a very intriguing plot ..some little things were there in that whole split personality thing i agree but that's not the point of the movie it was just a vehicle that carried the greater meaning that was about the duality of the human nature ..and the movie addressed on its two extremes perfectly...so denying that movie for that reason is not fair at all ..i don't think you can honestly say its one of the worst movies ever.

after watching 100s of movies after fight club I also feel its a bit overrated .but its pretty good i cant deny that.
same thing has happened for David fincher "se7en"
those are guy movies.that's the reason why those movies get higher ratings most of the time. what is so worth it to get 8.6 IMDB?

i had fight club in my top ten list for long time.now i dont count it as a top 10 movie.

it was never in my top 10 ..but was in my top 20 i guess and still prolly is ...i agree the plot holes are there ..for one, remember the seen, they are drinking beer sitting on a gutter after that first fight? narrator just handed his bottle to tyler which he holds ..but on flash backs later it shows the bottle falls and breaks. ..stuff like that

but like i said it wasn't about that ..the personality thing just was the vehicle that carried this great meaning ...and besides that, this movie was very enjoyable, stylish and mindblowing ...id give it 9.5/10 anyday.

thats you trying to put your artistic spin on the premise of the movie.
BTW, this movie might fall in to that 2% plot movies you are asking about earlier. Movie with good cast and directing but bad plot.

For me, the plot needs to be good. It may be about totally unrealistic theme (like superman, matrix for eg.) but if the premise is believable, then I'll be interested in it.
Goes without saying that this doesnt apply to the boobs, booty, guns & explotions movies that I watch.

if you think about it, ppl talking to themselves outa mental disorders ain't that rare  what was really so unrealist about this plot?

in 12 angry men in that jury session they came up with lots of things which apparently for some hilarious reasons did not ..but we ignored it and moved on right? so why not fight club ..besides im not really trying to put some artistic spin on it ..it was just infront of your eyes...the point of the movie was not to say that tyler was a modern savior if you are saying the personality thing was the base

Didnt get you on the 12 Angry Men reference. Care to explain ?
Its not regarding Tylor as a savior or not, its that the premise of him fighting himself is not sold to me.

when that guy was convincing the rest why the offender was not guilty he uses very clear evidence ..to give you some, like how the passing trained would have blocked the view for one of the witnesses and how one of the witnesses couldn't have responded to some sound cos of his disability ...i dont remember many of these any more since i saw this sometime ago but while watching the movie it really bothered me why the lawyer of the guy didn't think of any of these? the stuff the jury guy just said was alone powerful enough to convince another 11 guys so with proper prioof the the lawyer could have won the case undoubtedly

any movie has plot holes ..i can't think of a single one that don't

some where at the beginning, the same guy says he's surprised that the defense lawyer was unable to come up with the same questions that he has regarding the case.
