Mara Lorenco was clearing up on the field during The Brazil Trophy event. Unfortunately her attention was not on the athletes so she failed to notice a javelin throw in progress. The javelin hit Lorenco in the foot. In the pictures you can see the tip of the javelin has passed through her foot exiting through the sole of her shoe.
