This is the launch of WSO2's series of hackathons, where we choose to focus on various areas of expertise of the open source middleware platform. The first hackathon focuses solely on Cloud Computing Architecture, offering coders an effective starting point to create and implement their own brand of open source software in a cloud based environment.
The main areas of focus will be:
Core software development for Open Source
Creating Cartridges
Building your own PaaS framework
Building your own SaaS Apps
DevOps
We are looking for teams of coders, 5 persons per team, who strongly share our sentiments and commitment to open source middleware, to get your hack together and register with us for a weekend that will go down in history as the toughest hackathon to hit our shores. It's survival of the fittest! Of course we supply resources to assist you. Our very own industry gurus and leads will be at hand to offer you advice, answer queries, or just have off the chart random chats with you one-on-one (in which you may participate at your own risk!).
Your team needs to deliver on specific set milestones along the 48-hour time period, and upon successful completion of these milestones, you will be awarded a Certificate of Completion by WSO2, along with a substantial amount of bragging rights.
