hey.. guys!

i'm using linux mint 5 as my secondary os with windows xp.
now i want to move out completey from xp to linux.but my ZTE ZXDSL 852 is not working on Mint 5.
i tried installing ubudsl but it's not working.(leds are not blinking in modem)
again i downloaded the alpha version of ubudsl but it says that my modem is not supported..!

Linux Mint is a great os.this is the only bad thing i found in it.

i'm not a expert in linux.so i'm not much familiar with those packages and other stuff working with it.
but i found that ubuntu and mint has many similar things.

i hope someone can help me out with this..!

Thanks.

Hey ppl......check ma ealier post.....Im using Ubuntu 8.04. I installed Ubudsl without any prob..... Or elase do u ppl know abut winehq?????????
Find the details abut it from www.winehq.org... By installing this software u guyz will able to install .exe files in Ubuntu.......Really itz working....That sortware creates windows files within ur Ubuntu OS. So that u can simply install .exe files. so Harindu I think winehq is a solution for ur problem. 1st visit winehq web site and learn about it. Then you'll be able to install windows driver inside the Ubuntu...Its working for many other Linux OSs. N for the Vista drivers giv a call to SLT 1243 n request drivers from them. They'll email u...........
    So ppl try it........
    gud luck
