Maruti Alto - 12.5kmpl (City)
Viva Elite (Auto Gear) - 10.5kmpl (City)

Please answer the below mentioned questions if you have any idea

Does any one know the fuel consumption of a maruti ?

Which brand new vehicle has the minimum cost + best fuel consumption in sri lanka ?

How much does a brand new maruti cost in sri lanka now?

Machan, maruti 800 is already banned in india. So, don't buy these. Their emission level is bad (meaning fuel consumption is also not very good). AMW is trying to sell out this shit as soon as possible to Sri Lankans.

k10 engine is said to be a lot better. So, Alto k10 could be a good choice.

Susuki A-star also claims a very good consumption level. Price higher.

Peroda Viva and others Dihatsu copies have DVVT engines- manuals would be better for fuel figures. 2nd hand value bad.

Micro Panda - Full option and managed to win a safety award with a good crash test results. How a Chinese vehicle managed to pull this is beyond me. no idea about fuel con. 2nd hand value is piss-poor at this stage.

Micro Panda is far better ... i think price tag is 11LKR LKS . ( Brand new) dont think they r fully chinese junk . all these are modified here acording to SL roads . Shocks , breaks and many more electronic devices are fixed hare ( SL MADE STUFF) far better than INDIAN JUNK

    Ban of maruti-

Panda - More safer than Indian ones due to crash test rating. Also has ABS, Airbags and stuff.

If it's having five stars crash ratings, it might be one of the most safest hatch backs around.

It has Volvo technology (Volvo is owned by Geely). Volvo is mainly known for safety.

One option is to wait several months till market is settled and try to buy 2nd hand.

However, 1.3cc is clearly overkill. So, don't expect better fuel con. than Alto k10.
