OK. Now that I am reminded by an email, let me come back to the main issue of rebirth.

1. Muslims are brainwashed from childhood onwards and they believe in Allah and the rest of it.

2. Buddhists are brainwashed from childhood onwards and they believe in rebirth/reincarnation.

3. Most Eskimos (living in Lapland) have not even heard of Allah or rebirth. So, they are not brainwashed either way. And they don't believe in Allah or rebirth.

You don't have to believe in a life after death in order to be a moralistic, good person. I know of a large number of such great men, both from Sri Lanka and other countries.
