Apparently this is actually the case. These laws date back to colonial age, where sodomy was prohibited. But no one thought of banning female-female sex as that was not thought to be an issue.

But the source where I read this said that the govt. is going to introduce a law prohibiting that too, or already has done so. SL govt has also refused to sign the UN human rights pact which says to prevent the prosecution of homosexuals.

How weird! I suppose this could be called sexism against males..

So guys atleast find an A/L girl next time ............ and check the goddamn ID, if she/he doesn't have one ..... gotcha

i assume girl is over 18+ then for sure both will be sued for "අනාචාරයේ හැසිරීම" but if shes underage the conductor guy is in deep trouble, anyway this story docent make any sense at all for me

If the girl is 18+ then no one can sue anything. The bus would have only contained those two people, so it's not a public place (2 < 6). But our idiot police doesn't understand it.
