U have to complete 2 sidequest to proceed. 1st is the one getting silversword. It dealt a great damage to non humans. 2nd involves getting a anti kayran toxic potion. U have to drink it first before going in to the battle. When fighting kayran use quen sign first. Try to avoid getting smashed by tentacles. While quen is on u take no damage bt it will remove the sign effect quickly. And now dogde and go to the left or right side of the beast. Select yarden sign.activate it. Ane w8 there till beast raise his tentacle to strike and quickly move away by dodging. Now the beast tent is traped and quickly attack it with your silversword and cut it down. Do this to the 2 tentacles each beasts further left and right side. Note that yarden trap wont work on middle 2 or 3 tent. After u cut down about 4 or 5 ten beast is down but it keep throwing rocks at u. Use quen and go to the stone legde. U have to climb it bt tent keep attacking u. Use quen when its down and reach the top and vollah! U get a cutscene geralt throwing a bomb down the beast mouth and thats the end of kayran
