Arrest Duminda says Court

The Colombo Magistrate Court today ordered the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) to arrest Colombo District MP Duminda Silva in connection with the killing of former MP Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and produce him before courts.

The order was given by Colombo Additional Magistrate Prasanna Alwis.

Former MP and Presidential Advisor Bharatha Lakshman Premachandra and two others were killed in a shooting on October 08. MP Duminda Silva was also admitted to the Sri Jayawardenapura Hospital with gun shot injuries in the head.

He is presently receiving treatment in Singapore.
