Buy Electronic components online - first ever in Sri Lanka

Guys, this is pretty amazing. There is an electronics and robotics online store, for the first time in Sri Lanka . I found this site while googling. I have been ordering stuff for a long time, from sites such as Sparkfun, Farnell, Digikey, but the shipping cost is unbearable. Even for a small part the shipping amounts to 10-20 USD.

But this store is amazing. It has most of the expensive electronic items such as communication modules, dsPICs, sensor modules that you can't find normally in Sri Lanka. (Even in pettah you can't find these kind of stuff)

Aptinex also provides component sourcing facilities in Sri Lanka for a long time now. They mostly aim international market but they do sell some of the fast moving components and modules through their site.

The good thing about them is, they try to make some products in Sri Lanka rather than importing everything from China. PICKIT2, PIC Development Board are some examples. Their online electronic sourcing sites LankaTronics and InteliFast has these products listed in and soon will be filled with almost every fast moving electronic component so that the people from outside Colombo can buy them directly.

They also do nice PCBs including quick 30-minute prototype PCB service. I'm working with these guys for a long time now and they are very cool, very talented and deliver the product we need without any hassle. You can contact them through their site.
