Radeon (AMD) VGA cards. Where to buy on SL?

I need to know where to buy redeon cards in SL. Urgent. Gonna buy tomorrow. They need to have lower end to medium end cards (specifically the 4650), and should be around Colombo.

P.S: Don't give me nvidia crap. All of them after 8000 series screwed up big time.

I have a problem with e-bay which I've mentioned on the 'cool ebay gadgets thread" which has not yet resolved.

Actually I haven't used nvidia cards. I have used only 7000 64 MB series (2003) and x300 256 MB both ati, with a AMD machine. At that time however, nvidia was actually better.

But since ati was taken by AMD, tables have changed. I'm going to buy a AMD one and (i have a intel machine LOL - coz i didn't find anyone to buy AMD from at that time, unity was boycotting AMD)

Bought a sapphire Radeon HD 5450. LKR 6000.
Didn't install it yet. Now downloading catalyst 11.11 for linux x86_64
Will inform you guys about what happened tomorrow

I suggest you directly buy from the redline cause they are the argent of Axle graphic cards and were authorized to sell in Srilanka. it would be bit cheap.
I bought nvidia gtx460 from one of unity plaza shops and later I checked on the redline it's 1000 rupees cheap in redline. yeah obviously the middle man keeps some cut that's the reason. redline selss both nvidia and ati graphic cards. but their brand is Axle as I know. I dunno it sucks like some people say. so far I got nothing wrong with it only some stutters but I suspect it's because of my processor cause it's just a dual core one.

nvidia cards are spoiling on the racks because they are expensive. but believe it or not nvidia chips are powerful compare with ATI and life span is relatively high. you may use a nvidia card for 2 years for gaming , I used to have 9500gt though I bought it in 2009 I could even play 2011 games with medium settings except those mega demanding games like crysis.
but ATI is a nice solution for non gaming applications. it's cheap and consume less power.

Things you should understand

1. This card is better than following: Geforce 210,220,420,520 and possibly 430. Although old, geforce 9800 is much more better than the 5450 (what i bought)

2. If you have LKR12,000 ... run and buy a 5670 from (you know where). 5670 has 4x power than the 5450.

3. In linux, 5450 performs better than any nvidia card, due to driver issues with nvidia, and when not gaming, i'll be mostly at Linux.

4. 5450 consumes only 19W, and heat around 40 C when working. So don't need a separate power supply

5. If you already have a desktop second generation i5 or i7, don't buy this as performance would be similar. (check the image)

6. Forget about playing far cry or black ops in 1080i with this. I only have a 720p monitor, so whatever card i use, results won't be much different.
