Just to add on top of AncientGlory's question, If every baby was born as a muslim, and all happen according to god's will, then the baby born as a muslim becomes a non believer by gods will. Pardon me, that seems like a con job rather than compassion.

Go to the children's cancer ward in Marahagama cancer hospital. you will see little kids who are just a few months old suffering from cancer. Is that your god's will? What have those poor little babies done to deserve such cruel punishment from your god?

However a counter argument for these questions would be, How would a mere mortal know GOD's intention, acts and plans and how would a mortal understand what universal good and bad would be? We mortals live in a subjective reality.
