I haven't seen the originals yet they are on downloading list of mine so I can't say which one is better but most of reviews says those are good.
This English version is done by David Fincher he is one of my favorite director.

Cool movie. It's about finding a missing person. But they ended up finding a series of killings. I won't spoil the details more. Characters are really interesting. Environment and phase go along with this suspense/thriller genre movie. Got good reviews too. Looking forward the second part. And yes, I recommend.

I liked the Swedish Trilogy. Still not watched the English version. Anyway, David Fincher is a master in creating good suspense movies.
