The worst road of China
"Road to Heaven" in the Tien Shan Man climbs the mountain Tyanmen south of the city and is one of the most spectacular sights in Hunan Province. But for foreigners is the attraction goes beyond the ordinary. Surely if someone made a list of the worst roads, this would be at the top of the list.
The lowest part of "Road to Heaven" at 200 meters below sea level, while the highest - above 1,300 meters.
Still, there are two alternative names of this road - "The road bends 99-ty" and "high road gate."
Why 99? Nine - a lucky number in Chinese culture, as the mythology of the heavens are nine palaces.
The construction took eight years, beginning with the 1998.
For those who decided not to climb on this road built a cableway. But it's easier at first glance, because the length of the cable car is 7455 meters and it is the longest in the world.
