was it wcdma preferred or wcdma only? anyway if you are using the settings menu to do that try this *#*#4636#*#* and try go to phone information at the bottom you can find a ldropdown list just select wcdma only and exit

did dat aslo bro still its not working if i choose wcdma or GSM/wcdma(auto mode) phone shuts off so it works only in gsm mode so i dont get HSDPA

Flash your firmware again then via ODIN. Post your phone info here
