The matrix first film is older than a decade but still its in par with modern sci-fis we are seeing today in both story action, and camera work. As the backstreet boys were ahead of their time

Its been said that wachowski brothers estimated 80mil for the film and WB only issued 10mil. So they filmed the first 10 minutes of the film using the whole 10mil and showed it to the big-heads in WB. And they give the green light with all the financials
