Turkish government said one of its F4 fighter jets was shot down by Syria.

Turkish government said they will take the necessary measures.

Turkey has a modern military & is a member of NATO.

So Turkey is a NATO member. If one NATO member is attacked, others are bound to regard that as an attack on them. All the members can declare war on them.
This is what USA wanted. I think US use Turkey as a bait to make war on Syria

The case is that US wants to kick Russia from the Mediteranian... first they finished Gadhafi who was a Russian allay... now Syria... (Russia has a port in Syria)

They will kill 2 birds with only one stone. Of course Russia, and Iran. Don't forget that Iranian revolutionary guards are helping Mr Assad. Syria is lead by Alawi Islamic government (Which is a branch of Shia Islam) who gets support from Iran.
Like Libya, USA will win. But this turbulence will affect the oil prices and we are finished :(

It won't affect the oil prizes that much but things change if Iran or Russia joins!
