First-Person Walking Dead Video Game Announced

While Telltale will continue to release its episodic Walking Dead video games, Activision announced the development of a first-person Walking Dead title.

According to IGN, development is being handled by Terminal Reality and is based on AMC’s The Walking Dead TV show. The story centers on Daryl Dixon and his brother Merle. Players control Daryl as he makes his way through the Georgia countryside. You'll have the choice of fighting zombies or avoiding them, and even meet additional characters throughout his journey.

Are they friend or foe?Supplies will be limited and you'll have to manage food and ammunition. The game is targeted for release next year on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

Street Fighter x Tekken new character DLC release date announced

Street Fighter x Tekken new character DLC release date announced

12 new characters will be available to download for fighting game Street Fighter x Tekken on 31st July 2012, Capcom has announced.

The new characters can only be bought as a single pack for £15.99 / €19.99 on PlayStation 3, and 1600 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360. The DLC raises the character count to 50. The new characters are Blanka, Cody, Dudley, Elena, Guy and Sakura (from Street Fighter), and Alisa Bosconovitch, Bryan Fury, Christie Monteiro, Jack-X, Lars Alexandersson and Lei Wulong (from Tekken).

The first run of all retail copies of the PS Vita version of the game, due out in the autumn, come with two free download codes that let you transfer DLC content to your PS3. One code is for the additional 12 characters and the second gives Vita players free alternate costumes for the core roster of 38 characters. Capcom said anyone who pre-orders the Vita version at select retailers will get alternative costumes for the 12 new characters. All DLC can be shared between PS3 and Vita.
