Do we need our own Torrent Tracker?

Guys many came up with da idea of our own torrent site. But i really wanna see who gonna seed for it. Coz it'll use lot of time and resources to make such site. I wanna see ppl using it if not it's all gonna be waste.
So please post your comments, ideas, suggestion and don't forget to vote in the poll too. You can vote for anything i won't be tracking who voted. So please just vote for real.

depends on what you guys are providing us with..If I download it I'll definitely seed..no problems there. If everybody maintain a 1.0 ratio that'll be great.

It'd be also good if it's just Lankan stuff (Music Albums,Videos,Movies etc.) and tv shows which were popular in SL.

lolz.. seedinz gonna b a minor prob since most o da ppl r hooked wit adsl.. wit limited up speed.. nywayz.. am sure dat if ya guyz implement a min 0.5 or 1.0 ratio upload limit on da torrent tracker dis is gonna b possible cuz den ya ll b forced 2 share somehow.. lmao... else give da 1st 2nd warnin n den da finishin blow.. lmao.. or suspension temp.

y nt have a ftp rite here in elakiri if ya guyz could manage da bandwidth n storage? ll make thinz more easier cuz en ya guyz could have a special ac 4 uloadin n dloadin based on da username n dere passwordz... wut say? 2 big a thought eh..

The problem buddy, if we go with a public FTP then lot of legal problems. You have to know what in your FTP and what ppl uploading to it. If not you are in big trouble.
About torrents, we haven’t decided about the ratio yet. Anyway have to put it and see how it'll go..

hey the idea is good, but the thing is in aus we have a download & upload limit... if we exceed that limit, our net speed will be reduced... so sorry i cant seed it... coz i'm living with few of my friends and i don't have the single ownership on da net... but the idea of the torrent site is gr8...

wel.. hostin a tracker for da torrentz 2 comez 2 a certain degree o illegality just as da ftp though... but da advantage bein dat ya need nt worry bout da content bein stored nywhere.. but based on the user advantageousness... ftpz da way..
