-Which movie you watched last? -

wasn't in the same league as TDK, wasn't as awe inspiring as TDK. that moment when both groups of people on each ferries decided not to set off the bombs..or the ending
but TDKR entertained to no less. and couldn't match the character build the first film.
haven't read comics to say any better

compared to the comics DKR sucks big time. Which is what makes the comic book fans so angry at this movie. In TDK source material was used SOOO well and raised the bar to a whole new level. Everyone was expecting the final movie to at least stay at that level, if not exceed it.
So when this made such a piss poor job at using the source material and coming up with a good story, the disappointing level went through the roof.

Is the movie entertaining ? yes, it is entertaining. The same way the expendables was entertaining. Not the way a good batman story should've been entertaining. That is the problem.

I'm pretty sure you havent read the Dark Knight Returns story to even know what I'm talking about. Suggest you do that first before arguing about messages sent to heroes.

Comic or not Nolan never brought any kind of extraordinary element to the mix.

Bane had this refined blood supply which he can access whenever he want more energy right ? getting bigger and all ?
Nolan even drop that part out and left with mask thing giving reason it was just a pain controlling mechanism.

best he could go is that bomb. Claiming its some kind of energy source.

Comic or not bringing Superman is just impossible.

And BTW Im getting 16GB worth batman comics soon.

Totally! specs, a side part and business suit and not eve Lois Lane can see that its Supes.
I'm pretty sure there was even a Superman comic that pointed out this fact and made fun of it.

I watched this series telecast on Sirasa back then and yeah they made it look it as a pretty good cover. I dont know how they did it !

May be they used thick framed specs (Now who uses such a spec in this thread ) Even I couldnt tell the differ.

Nolan kinda messed it up with Selina. Should've let her use her costume through out the movie as the Catwoman never goes on a job without her costume which covered her face pretty well while being totally sexy at the same time

There was a failed cat woman movie with this super sexy actress. I think the same one who does the role of Storm in X men.
