About Jobs in the IT(Software) field

Guys today i'm gonna talk about a very important topic for everyone, Jobs in the IT field.

As i know most people are in the IT(Software) field and some are currenly doing their studies but most of the people dosent have an idea on what field to choose, so how do we choose a correct field?

1st let me tell about the fields or tacks available in the IT industry -:

- Development
- Database
- quality assurance
- Project Management
- Support or the ASM track
- Business analyst (BA)

These are some of the major tracks offered by most popular software companies, even in companies such as Google, Facebook, Microsoft...
But there can be other tracks also in some other companies.

So how can i choose a track for my educational qualifications- :
choosing a track according to the educational background is important, for an example BA track needs a good business background, so any person with a Business ralated degree can go for this track.

Do i need a degree to go on any of these tracks -:
Yes guys having a degree can secure your position and lead you up the ladder to higher positions such as for an example -:
Associate engineer - engineer- Sr.engineer upto tech lead.

With working experiance or with educational qualifications it is important to choose one of these fields becuase it will be the future.

Do i get paid well :-Of cause you will be paid well, a normal engineer can start with around 45 000to sometimes 70 000 based on the track he chooses.

So guys girls, while if you are good at graphic desiging don't stick to it try to find a track that you will be fitted for and then use your graphic knowledge on advancing on that track.

So what is this ASM or support track?
Well today in almost a lot of software companies this is one major track where you have to have a knowledge about the application developed by yht oragnization and then support the application by fixing bugs and helping the customer and yes this is a good track to choose if you are effiecient of talking.

Machan there are goos institutes in SL, i think you are doing your degree ina private university. There are several universities that youc an try for such as -:

IIT, SLIIT, APIIT or you can do your Higer national deploma in a Institute such as ICBT and get the final year degree from Middlesex university UK (this is the most cost effective way)
