Asus K55VD With Core i7 or Lenovo U410 Ultrabook with Core i5?

Im a bit confused! I need to buy a laptop soon. Here are my the two final winners on my list : Asus K55VD With Core i7 and Lenovo U410 Ultrabook with Core i5...

Both are good and can be useful for me... Lenovo machine is very light, fast due to the SSD and have longer battery life. I can take it anywhere I like. Some times, I wish I could move away from my PC and write a blog post peacefully. I don't like this chair . The Ultrabook is perfect for that. But I need Linux. Lenovo U410 have some issues with Linux. If I need Linux, I need to give up the SSD cache. Thats pointless.

The Asus K55VD is very powerful. I can install both Linux and windows on it without any issues. But, its heavy and bulky. It also doesn't have a good battery life like the Ultrabook.

So, what should I pick? Please help me!

yep.. bought an HP Core i7 lap on December... gave it back and got a refund gave me problems since I bought it...

I use an IdeaPad U410 and Im very satisfied with it. Battery life is good closer to 05 hours

almost evrything works very well.

Man december machine eka gaththe metropolitan... Metropolitan is a great place... we get the original laptop with the seals. Not ripped like in Unity.

But, since the first day, I got issues... It have some audio issues first... After using for some time, it will give a loud pop sound with with any sound. At that time, the head phone jack is not working. I was unable to show it to metropolitan because if I close the lid or shutdown the machine for a second, the problem is not there....

Then, we can't partition the system... if we do, many things will break. Sometimes, even the recovery DVDs won't work!

Normally, a brand new laptop battery should have 100% capacity right? But my battery went down to 93% capacity! (not the charge)... Some times, the charge stucks at 96%.

I gave it to metropolitan and they gave it to the HP service center. The HP service center cannot be trusted! When I got the machine, all the problems are still threre!!! Metropolitan complained that HP didn't give enough support. So, they gave me a refund. Those guys are good. But HP... horrible machan!

Look at other models like lenovo and asus... If we put the model number on google, it will give all the reviews. But for HP products... no reviews... sometimes google doesn't even know that machine. But a very similar model number is there with very different hardware for western countries. HP send stripped down crap to asia... These machines are uselss! Don't buy HP machan! HP = Hadda Parana!

Machan man danna tharamin high performance nam battery adui... Lowe nam battery wadi... Ultrabooks wela battery hondai... Lenovo u410 eka singer ekee thiyenawa... It have a very good battery life but the cpu speed is low!
