මේ දවස් වල එළකිරියේ රිලිජස් ෆෝරම් එක පැත්තේ ලොකු රැල්ලක් යනවා මුස්ලිම් කොස්මොලොජි ගැන උජාරුවෙන් කතා කරන. කුරානය කියන්නේ කාව්‍යමය භාෂාවකින් ලියපු ග්‍රන්ථයක්. කවියකට අර්ථ නිරුපනය කිරීම එක එක්කෙනා එක එක විදිහට සිදුකරනවා. අපේ එළකිරියේ මුස්ලිම් කට්ටියත් කරන්නේ එයාලට හිතෙන හිතෙන විදිහට කුරානයේ කවි කෑලි වලින් කොස්මොලොජි අර්ථ මතුකරලා පෙන්වන එකයි. මේ එයාලට නොපෙනෙන කුරානයේ තියන මුස්ලිම් කොස්මොලොජි බොරු .

මෙන්න අපේ මුල්ම සාක්කිය. පෘතුවිය වටකුරු බව අපි ඔක්කොම දන්නව. ඒ හින්දා ලෝකයේ එක තැනකට රාත්‍රිය වෙද්දී තව තැනකට දවාල. ඒත් කුරාණයේ හිරුගේ ගමන් මාර්ගය විස්තර කරන්නේ මෙහෙමයි.

කුරාණයේ විදියට ඉර බැස්සට පස්සේ යන්නේ මඩ වළක් ඇතුලටලු! බැස යන අන්තයේදී මඩ කඩිත්ත යටට යන හිරු පහු වෙනිද උදේට හිරු නැගෙන කෙළවරින් ආයෙත් උඩට එනවලු. ඒ කියන්නේ ලෝකයට බටහිර හා නැහෙනහිර යන අන්ත දෙකක් තියෙන බව කුරාණයෙන් හැඟෙනවා. අන්ත දෙකක් තියෙන බව කියවෙනවා නම් ඒකෙන් උපකල්පනය වෙන්නේ පෘතුවිය පැතලි බවයි! ඔන්න විද්‍යාත්මක ඉස්ලාම්![/SIZE]

ඔබ කියනවා "කුරාණයේ හිරුගේ ගමන් මාර්ගය විස්තර කරන්නේ මෙහෙමයි."

කොහෙද එහෙම තියෙන්නේ? ඒ මනුෂ්‍යයා දැක්ක දේ එතන විස්තර කරන්නේ. තැන් දෙකේම "he found" කියල පැහැදිලිව තියෙනවා. ඒ කාලවල් වල ගමන් යාමේදී දිශාව ගැන අදහසක් ගත්තේ ඉර වැනි දේවල දිශාව මගින්. ඔහු ඉර follow කරමින් ගොස් දැක්ක දේ ගැනයි පැහැදිලිව කියන්නේ. (ඔය ඉර බහින සීන් එක චිත ශිල්පියෝ චිත්‍ර වලින් ඇඳලා පෙන්වන ඒවා ඕන තරම් තියෙන්නේ). ඉර ගමන් කරන මාර්ගයක් ගැන එතන කියල නෑ. ඉර ගමන් කරන්නේ කක්ෂ වල බව කුරාණයෙන්ම ඔබම පසුව දමා තිබෙනවා.

ඔතන "reached" යනු අරාබියෙන් "බලග" සහ "setting of the sun" යනු අරාබියෙන් "මග්රිබ්" වේ. මග්රිබ් යනු ඉර බහින දිශාව (බටහිර/West) සහ ඉර බහින වෙලාව (sunset) යන අර්ථ දෙකම දේ. මේ වාක්‍යයේදී ඉර බහින තැනක් (place of setting of sun) ගැන කියන එකක් නෑ. ඒ අනුව මෙතන අරාබියෙන් "බලග" යනු ස්ථානයක් සමග සම්බන්ධ නොවේ (ස්ථානයක් ගැන කියා නැති නිසා). "බලග" "මග්රිබ්" යනු ඔහු sunset වෙලාව reach කරපු බවයි එතන කියන්නේ. Rising of sun ගැනත් එසේමයි. ස්ථානය නොව වෙලාවයි.

මෙහි (18:86) දී "he found" යන්නට අරාබියෙන් ඇත්තේ "වජද" යන්නයි. එයට ඇති තේරුම් අතරෙන් "ඔහු දැක්කා/ඔහුට ඒත්තු ගියා" යන්න පැහැදිලි තේරුමක්. වාක්‍යයෙන් පැහැදිලිව කියන්නෙත් එම මිනිසා දැක්ක දේ විස්තර කිරීමයි. ඉරේ ගමන් මාර්ගයක් ගැන කොහොමත් එතන කියන්නේ නෑ. අනික, ඔබ කියන විදිහට ඉර ඒ බටහිරේ මඩවලට රෑට බැස්සනම්, ඊළඟ දවසේ උදේට නැගෙනහිර මඩ වලට ඉර යන්නේ කෝච්චියෙන්ද? ඔබට අනුව එහෙනම් ඊළඟ දවසේ ඉර පායන්න ඕනේ බටහිරින්, එවිට බහින්නේ නැගෙනහිරින්... ඔහොම මාරු වෙවී යන්න වේවි... ඔබ ගෙනාවේ මෝඩ තර්කයක් බං.. ඔය ඔබේ මඩ වලේ බහින කතාව ඔබ හිතේ මවාගත්ත එකක්! . කුරානයේ ඔහොම දෙයක් කොහොමත් නෑ.

මෙතනත් වැරදි දෙකක්ම තියෙනවා. පළමුවෙනි එක, හිරු පෘතුවිය වටා කක්ෂයක ගමන් ගන්නා බව. හිරු කක්ෂයක ගමන් ගන්නේ ක්ෂීරපථ මන්දාකිණියේ මධ්‍යය වටා පමණයි. හැබැයි මේ ක්ෂීරපථ මන්දාකිණිය වටා ගමන් ගැනීම කියල මේ කතාව වෙනස් කරන්න බෑ. මොකද හිරු සඳු එකිනෙකා අභිබවා නොයන බව කුරාණයේ කියවෙනවා. එහෙම වෙන්න පුළුවන් හිර හා සඳු එකම කේන්ද්‍රයක් වටා අංශක 180ක කලා (phase difference) අනුව ගමන් ගත්තොත් විතරයි. කුරාණය මෙතෙන්දි කරන දෙවැනි වැරද්ද තමයි දිවා කාලය හා රාත්‍රිය එකිනෙකා අභිබවා නොයන බව කීම. නමුත් ආක්ටික් වෘත්තයට උතුරෙනුත්, ඇන්ටාක්ටික් වෘත්තයට දකුණිනුත් වෙච්ච ප්‍රදේශවලට අවුරුද්දේ සමහර කාල වල සදාකාලික දවලක් හා සදාකාලික රැයක් පවතිනවා. සෞම්‍ය රටවලත් ගිම්හානයට දිවා කාලය දිග වැඩියි. ශිශිරයට රාත්‍රිය දිග වැඩියි. එනිසා රාත්‍රිය හා දවාල එකිනෙකා පරයා නොයන බව කියන කුරාණයේ කරුණත් වැරදියි.

මෙහි "nor does the night outstrip the day" යනුවෙන් පැතලි පොළවක දවල්/රෑ ගැන විස්තර කිරීම කොහොමත් වැරදියි. මෙලෙස රෑ සහ දවල් එකම වෙලාවක තියෙන අදහසක් යොදන්න හැක්කේ ගෝලාකාර පොළවක් වුනොත් තමයි.

ඉහත වාක්‍ය වලින් පෙන්වා තියෙන්නේ ඉර-හඳ , රෑ-දවල් ආදී නියමයන් සියල්ල කිසිම ඝට්ටනයකින් තොරව, ඒවාට අදාල නියමයන් අනුව ක්‍රියා කරන බව පෙන්වීමයි. එයින් දෙන අධ්‍යාත්මික උපදෙස වන්නේ, ඒවාටම කියා විශේෂ බලයක් නැති බවත්, එසේ බලය පෙන්වමින් එකිනෙකා අභිබවා යාමක් නැති බවත් ය. එනිසා, මිනිසා වන්දනය කල යුත්තේ ඉර/හඳ ආදී විශාලව "පෙනෙන" දේවල් නොව ඒවා සියල්ල මවා පාලනය කරන දෙවියන්ව පමණයි. (එකල, ඉර වන්දනය කල අය හිටියා). මෙසේ මෙම වාක්‍ය මගින් පැහැදිලිව පෙන්වන්නේ තමන්ටම කියා බලයක් නැති, යම් නීතියකට යටත්ව ක්‍රියා කරන ඉර වැනි මැවීම් වලට වැඳීම මෝඩකමක් බවයි.

• Manuṣyaloka (Tib: mi) – This is the world of humans and human-like beings who live on the surface of the earth. The mountain-rings that engird Sumeru are surrounded by a vast ocean, which fills most of the world. The ocean is in turn surrounded by a circular mountain wall called Cakravāḍa (Pāli: Cakkavāḷa) which marks the horizontal limit of the world. In this ocean there are four continents which are, relatively speaking, small islands in it. Because of the immenseness of the ocean, they cannot be reached from each other by ordinary sailing vessels, although in the past, when the cakravartin kings ruled, communication between the continents was possible by means of the treasure called the cakraratna (Pāli cakkaratana), which a cakravartin and his retinue could use to fly through the air between the continents. The four continents are:
○ Jambudvīpa or Jambudīpa is located in the south and is the dwelling of ordinary human beings. It is said to be shaped "like a cart", or rather a blunt-nosed triangle with the point facing south. (This description probably echoes the shape of the coastline of southern India.) It is 10,000 yojanas in extent (Vibhajyavāda tradition) or has a perimeter of 6,000 yojanas (Sarvāstivāda tradition) to which can be added the southern coast of only 3 ½ yojanas' length. The continent takes its name from a giant Jambu tree (Syzygium cumini), 100 yojanas tall, which grows in the middle of the continent. Every continent has one of these giant trees. All Buddhas appear in Jambudvīpa. The people here are five to six feet tall and their length of life varies between 80,000 and 10 years.

Daniel 4:10-11
