    මම iPhone එකක් ගත්තෙ 2008දි (අයියට පින්සිද්ධ වෙන්න :P). ඒක iPhone 3G එකක් (same as the original iPhone. Only difference was the 2MP camera). ඉතින් ඕක ගත්තට පස්සෙ අපේ කොල්ලන්ට නිකන් මැජික් වගේ :P:rofl: motion control games දැකලවත් නැතිකාලෙ මැජික් නේන්නම් :P
    ඉතින් ඕක අරගෙන යන යන තැන හැම එකාගෙම ඇස්වහ වැදිලද මන්ද මාස 5කින් විතර අපේ එකෙක් අතින්ම බිම වැටිල කුඩේ කුඩු උනා :dull::dull:
    ඊටපස්සෙ මම ඉතින් ebay පීරල පීරල front glass with digitizer ගෙන්නල රිප්ලේස් කරගත්ත. සේරටම මාස 4ක් 5ක් ගියා (ඒ දවස්වල front screen ගණන්). ඉතින් ඒක හැදුවට පස්සෙ අයිය ඒක ඉල්ලගෙන මට Nokia 5800 එකක් දුන්න :baffled:
    ටික කාලයක් එයත් යූස් කලාට පස්සෙ ආයිත් එයා අතින්ම වැටිල ආයිත් කුඩු :angry:
    ආයිත් screen මාරු කලා. හ්ම්ම් අපි ඉතින් කලබලේ ගලවල ඒකෙ home button එක සෙට්වෙන රිබන් එක කැඩුන. ඒකත් රිප්ලේස් කලා. හුටා! :growl: ඒ පාර ගලවන්න ගිහින් ribbon 3 FPC connector එක motherboard එකෙන්ම ගලවල ආව :angry:
    එදා ඉඳල front speaker and proximity sensor වැඩකරන්නෙ නෑ. ඒව කනෙක්ට් වෙන්නෙ අර කේබල් එකෙන් :(
    ඊටපස්සෙ කාලයක් handsfree ගහගෙන යූස් කලා. ඒත් ඒකත් එපාවෙලා මම ebay එකෙන් FPC connector එකකුත් ගෙන්නල සෙට් කරන්න ගියා. හරිගියෙ නෑ. ඒකට micro sized hot gun එකක් ඕනෙ. හෆොයි ඒ පාර ෆෝන් එක සෙට් කරනකොට loudspeaker එක කනෙක්ට් වෙන කේබල් එකත් කැඩිල :baffled: දැන් ඉතින් handsfree ම තමයි :rofl:
    මේ තියෙන්නෙ ඒක. My 5 year old masterpiece!!

    හ්ම්ම් මොනව කලත් මොනව උනත් අදටත් බබාවගේ වැඩ. බැටරි එකත් එදා වගෙම තියනව. Sound quality, screen quality කිසිදෙයක් වෙනස් වෙලා නැහැ. 2008දි දාපු සින්දු ඒ දවස්වල ගනිපු ෆොටෝස් ඒ වගෙම තාමත් ෆෝන් මෙමරි එකේ තියනව. දැනට මම මේක PDF reader එකක් විදියටයි iPod එකක් විදියටයි යූස් කරන්නෙ.

    දැන් බලමු Android ගැන. Google Android රිලීස් වෙන්නෙ 2008දි. මුලින්ම Android OS එක දාල එන ෆෝන් එක HTC Dream. Sliding keyboard එකක් එක්ක එන bulky ෆෝන් එකක්. iPhone 1st generation එකටවත් කිට්ටු කරන්නවත් බැහැ. එතකොට USA mobile phone market එකෙන් 80% අල්ලල තිබුනෙ Apple. ඊටපස්සෙ ඉතින් open source OS license එක නිසා එක එක කම්පනි එක එක ෆෝන් Android OS එක්ක රිලීස් කලා. ඒත් Apple iPhone වල තිබුන stability එකටවත් quality එකටවත් කිට්ටු කරන්න බැරි උනා. :nerd:
    කවුරුත් දන්නව ඉස්සර ඔය මොන smartphone එක එන්නත් කලින් world's best portable media player එක උනේ Apple iPod එක කියල. ඒ වගෙම multimedia වැඩවලට අදටත් සුපිරිම Apple iMac PCs. ඉතින් ඒ සේරම තාක්ෂණයන්ගේ එකතුවක් උන Apple iPhone එක හොඳ නැහැ කියල කියන්න පුළුවන් කාටද? එහෙම කියන්න එකම හේතුව නොදැනුවත්කම. iPhone හොඳ නැහැ කියන කිසි කෙනෙක් iPhone එකක් මාසයක්වත් යූස් කරපු අය නෙමෙයි. :frown::frown:
    Bluetooth වලින් files share කරන්න බැහැ කියනව. Memory expand කරන්න බැහැ කියනව. ඒත් ඒකෙ තියන advantages ගැන කතාකරනවද? :P
    Bluetooth වලින් files share කරන්න බැහැ තමයි. කෙලින්ම PC එකට connect කරල files කොපි කරන්න බැහැ තමයි. ඒත් ඒක නිසාම තමයි iPhone වල stability එක රඳා පවතින්නෙත්. Unsupported or corrupted files කොපි කරන එක වළක්වන්නේ ඒකෙන්. iPhone එකක් PC එකක් එක්ක synchronize කලාම media library එකක් maintain කරන ඒකත් ගොඩක් ලේසියි :)
    16GB, 32GB, 64GB මෙමරි වලින් එන ෆෝන් එකකට තව මෙමරි කාඩ් මොකටද? 1TB විතර files ෆෝන් එකට කොපි කරගෙන ඉන්න තොපි අනාතද? :rofl::rofl:

    මේ තියෙන්නෙ මම දැනට යූස් කරන Samsung කට්ට :P

    I posted this thread to show some people that Apple products are not junk as they think. There are good smartphones like HTC one, Google Nexus (pure android UI), Motorola Droid which use android as there platform OS but they also have there own weaknesses as well. However if you compare all those smartphones with a one giant competitor like Apple iPhone which features the world's most advanced and most bug free mobile OS (according to most reviews), you can simply realize the purpose of having a smartphone and exceeding those Hi-Tech features with not so human friendly giant HD screens and bulky size handsets are totally useless

    In my experience I have used both Android and iOS devices and I know that some of those devices ain't good while others do. But I am extremely satisfied with every Apple device I used until today because all of them met there stated quality to the max.

    Android as an open source mobile operating system which was created using Linux kernel and modified Java code, is good for some devices but today every manufacturer is trying to use it to feature in their smartphone. So there are lot of incompatibilities and mismatches between Android OS and those devices due to hardware differences and technological changes as well.

    Now look at the Apple's side of story. They create both hardware and software for their own devices so every instruction of their OS is completely match with the hardware. There is no need for tweeking iOS to support for their own product, iPhone, because they both are products of the same manufacturer.

    Apple prevents its users from copying unsupported or corrupted material to Apple devices accidentally or by a virus attack, using their synchronizing technique. Also just imagine that you don't know anything about those smartphones but want to buy one and use it for your daily tasks as a life companion. So if you buy an iPhone you can get used to it within one day because it's so easy to understand but it features everything in one tiny package. If you buy an Android smartphone like Samsung Galaxy S4 I bet you have to read a manual or search through internet about how to use it since it is kind of hard to understand to a newbie like I said.
