Good point. Those features are added at high-end cars lineups since long time ago. That is normal. But many people buy corolla, Camry (best selling car), honda civic, accord, hyundai elantra etc.
Fortunately brands (e.g. Honda, Hyundai too), start adding such features to normal cars at lower cost. So it is good for consumers. Now Toyota needs to do something to maintain competition. That is it.

Any normal gps ($99,also some tablets such as Samsung galaxy tab (150$)), you can get a handheld GPS. But how much we have to pay if we want to add this feature to a car ( inbuilt car navigation system). Unfortunately, for some cases you must upgrade it to higher packages to get that feature.
