cima is more of management. acca is more of accounting. I have studied for cima and i prefer cima of this two. If you have a higher dream like to run a business or become a CEO etc, cima covers many areas than ACCA.

this is my opinion and don't take none of the courses easily. If you can complete one of these exams within 5 years, you are success. take the required time. don't try to finish within about 3 years unless you are a very bright case.

in 1st stage tuition fee for one subject in cima would be around Rs 7000, in later stages tuition fee for three subjects would be around Rs30 000. visit web sites cimaglobal.com to find out exam fees.

cima is all about management accounting (marketing, financial, operational & HR) and acca financial. i have done cima and strongly recommend you to do the same thing, will take about 2 and a half to 3 years. total cost will be around 4-5 laks. the main thing is what you want to do in your life. if you want to be an accountant it is better to go with acca or local chartered. if you want to be a ceo or start your own business choose cima.
