Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales First Look

Film producer Jerry Bruckheimer has revealed the first photo of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The photo (seen below) shows Sparrow tied up by two other pirates. Along with unveiling the picture, Bruckheimer wrote on Twitter: "Captain Jack is back, and we're not letting him go."

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales recently resumed filming after production stopped for two weeks because Depp injured his hand and required surgery. There are roughly three more months of shooting for the Disney film, with a scheduled premiere for July 7, 2017.

Along with Depp, Javier Bardem and Brenton Thwaites are starring in Pirates of the Caribbean 5, with Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning directing the movie.

The film revolved around the journey of Captain Jack Sparrow as he was escaping the wrath of his old enemy Captain Salazar, who altogether with his crew has escaped from the Devil's triangle. The story then goes on as he was looking for the mythical trident of poseidon which gives its posessor the full control of the sea.
New characters will also be introduced on the movie. Austrilian actor Brenton Thwaites who bested other famous actors such as Ansel Elgort will play the role of Henry, son of David meanwhile Kaya Scodelario will also play the role of the female lead.
Keira Knightley who was famous for portraying the role of Elizabeth Swann (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End) was said to have refused to do any characters further stating that although Pirates of Caribbean played a huge part of her life but as it took her five years of it she does not wish to be casted once again.

IT DIDN’T make the cut in Pirates of The Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest but this monstrous ship has mysteriously sailed back into the fifth instalment of the blockbuster franchise.

The discarded ship joined the Black Pearl on the Helensvale set of Dead Men Tell No Tales yesterday in a move that will have Pirates fans speculating about plot lines.

The vessel is the same ship that fell under attack at the helm of the Flying Dutchman in a dramatic ambush scene in the second film but was deleted from the final cut and had not been seen since.

Disney is keeping tight- lipped on the boat’s name or what role it will play in the latest instalment, but insiders said there is a backstory in store.

Screen Queensland yesterday confirmed Johnny Depp and cast and crew were in overdrive.

“The production is in full capacity with its cast and crew with approximately 800 Queensland crew and 5000 Queensland vendors at work,” the statement said.

“The production will spend at least $100 million in Queensland.”

A mystery ship has appeared on the set of Pirates of the Caribbean at Helensvale.

LEAKED Photos Reveal Ship And Actors In Military Costumes On Set

New pics leaked from the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales" set reveal the ship being used in the movie and some actors in military costumes.

International Business Times noted that in the first pic, the uniforms worn by the actors may suggest that they're a part of a country's navy. Courier Mail reported that the exterior shots of the infamous pirate ship The Black Pearl are being depicted by The Rainbow Gypsy, a 15-year-old replica. The ship has been completely overhauled to resemble the Black Pearl, by getting a new bowsprit and reconfigured decks and cabins.
