‘Pirates of the Carribean 5: Dead Men Tell No Tales’ Plot Update: Will there be father-and-son reunion between Henry and Will Turner?

"Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" muddy plot is getting clearer as it has been revealed that Captain Jack's new comrade in arriving at his mission of chasing the ghost pirates that have escaped the Bermuda Triangle is a British soldier whose name is Henry.

Henry (played by Brenton Thwaites) is said to replace the role of Will Turner (Orlando Bloom's character) in Captain Jack's missions. Although it turns out that Henry might have a little mission of his own too as he is looking for his lost father in the seas which could possibly be Will Turner as well.
Take note that at the end of "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) had a young boy. He could have grown up as Henry.
Will they ever meet?
Taking account from Orlando Bloom's statement when he spoke with IGN, the story might include their family reunion. He said, "I'm not entirely sure that [I'll be back] just yet, but there are talks. Basically they want to reboot the whole franchise, I think, and do something with me and the relationship with my son."
On the side note, it has already been made known that Kaya Scodelario who featured in "The Maze Runner" will join the cast as the female lead but on how she will fit in the story, nobody outside the writing and production staff has slipped a word to the public yet.
To keep the fans on their toes for the fifth Pirates movie, Director Jerry Bruckheimer previously tweeted a photo of Johnny Depp tied around a tall post on April 22 with the caption "Captain Jack is back and we're not letting him go."
With the success of the "Pirates of the Carribean" franchise with its last installment "Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides" earning a whopping $1.05 billion worldwide in theaters back in 2011, it is only logical business-wise that Walt Disney will add a follow-up to the blockbuster movie series.
Finding ways to make the production cost-effective as much as possible, the setting - as already known - takes place in Australia.
Captain Jack Sparrow is ready to turn up the female crowd's ideal men again as "Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Men Tell No Tales" hits global theaters on July 7, 2017.

Filming of ‘Pirates of the Caribbean 5’ Moves to Raby Bay from Gold Coast as Seasickness Hits Cast and Crew!

The shift in weather in the Pacific has caused big swells in the Gold Coast in Australia that filming of “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” had to be moved to Raby Bay, southeast of Brisbane, in search of calmer seas.

Apparently, the big swells in the Gold Coast have caused major seasickness among the cast and crew that the production decided to move elsewhere so as not to hamper the filming again of the fifth installment of the very successful Disney pirates movie.

The transfer of location was counter-productive for the Federal Government of Queensland since it spent $21.6 million to secure the location for the movie as early as February this year. The state government also offered an incentive package that included payroll tax concessions, details ABC of Australia.

But the new location in Raby Bay in Brisbane, Australia is no stranger to being a location to international films. Angelina Jolie’s film “Unbroken” and “The Chronicles of Narnia” were previously filmed in Raby Bay.

Karen Williams, Mayor of Redland City Council, explains that Captain Jack Sparrow and the “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” movie is very much welcome in Redlands.

Dream comes true for young Jed as Captain Jack Sparrow surprises him with a visit on Gold Coast film set

Captain Jack Sparrow, the famous Pirates of the Carribean character played by Johnn Depp, with Ravenshoe boy Jed Baker, who suffers from Moyamoya Disease.


JOHNNY Depp hasn’t only brought wife Amber Heard and her two pampered pooches along for his return visit to Australia to reprise his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The Hollywood star, 51, and new wife Heard, 29, and Heard’s Yorkshire terriers, Boo and Pistol, have reportedly been joined on the Gold Coast by Depp’s father-in-law, David Heard.

Depp and his father-in-law tucked into a fruit cake baked for them last week by the mother of Ravenshoe boy Jed Baker as a special “thank you” after Depp organised a dream come true set visit for the 11 year-old boy, who suffers from a rare brain disorder.

Jed, who was diagnosed with the rare brain disorder Moyamoya disease when he was 11 months old, has idolised Jack Sparrow since he first saw Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl while in hospital when he was two.

Depp organised for Jed, his mother Nicola, father Peter and younger siblings Charlie, 6, and Lucy, 3, to visit the Village Roadshow Studios set of the film on Thursday, where Jed was dressed in pirate costumes and given a 15-minute preview of a scene being filmed.

“Then we heard a voice behind us that said ‘Argh, is that Captain Jed?’ ” Mrs Baker said.

“We turned around and it was Captain Jack Sparrow!”

Depp stayed in character during his time with Jed, who is intellectually impaired, with the pair quoting movie scenes together and discussing Sparrow’s experience of being swallowed by a giant octopus in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest.

“Captain Jack was so, so kind and generous with everything,” Mrs Baker said.

“We could see Johnny Depp through the hair and make-up and he was very determined to connect with Jed.

“They were able to have a conversation on a very pirated level, which was fantastic. Jed doesn’t realise that Johnny Depp and Jack Sparrow are the same person. In Jed’s mind he was with Jack Sparrow.”

Mrs Baker baked a fruit cake for Depp, which she delivered to him during their visit.

She said she has since been told the A-list actor and his father-in-law sat down to enjoy their treat last Friday night.
