MR to make announcement on July 1

Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa would make an official statement to the public on his stance of contesting at the Parliamentary Elections, his Spokesman Rohan Weliwita said today. He said Mr. Rajapaksa would declare whether he would contest or not next Wednesday July 1, at 10.00 a.m. at Medamulana. Mr. Weliwita said his statement would respond to all the various media reports based on several politicians’ statements about Mr. Rajapaksa’s contesting. “Several gossip websites and newspapers had predicted a lot and had said so many things quoting Mr. Rajapaksa. July 1 will provide response to them,” Mr. Weliwita said. He did not say if there would be a media briefing or public meeting where Mr. Rajapaksa planned to make his announcement. Dont be that disappointed coz its the same technique he used to defeat upfa in the presidential election so unp can avoid upfa prime minister being appointed and majority of seats will held by unp ,doing so he can control both Pm and the president using unp parlimentarians even if just like my3 mr tries to go away.

So ulitimate secenario will be Mr Ranil controlling both president and pm and controling the country like a boss.

If he did not ask then MR will contest under upfa and then unp again will get defeated
