I really don't have a definition for Atheism, that's why I came to the "Atheist corner" to find out. Here's my simple theory:

A religion is:

"A religion is an organized collection of beliefs, cultural systems, and world views that relate humanity to an order of existence."

Now let's see if Atheism is a complete disjoint set:

1. collection of beliefs - There exists no deity.
2. cultural systems - People embrace and promote the idea (Eg: this thread)

ohh c'mon ,
1) How come not believing in something become a belief in the first place ? do you believe in zeus , unicorns ? so lack of belief in these things could be called as a belief ? (what kind of sorcery is this ? )

2) Atheism as a cultural system ? seriously I've got no clue about this
, yes there are pages , threads which are dedicated to discuss on atheism
but as a cultural thing ?

let me be clear on this. u just come and reject all our logical arguments about non existence of magic god karma sansara unicorns warlocks and superman just bcz the definition of religion matches with the atheism. and it's me looking at the pointed at moon finger ? dude i was a buddhist. but this type of logic ? i dont know man its strange. u cant go telling people around X,Y and Z is false just bcz definition of A matches B.

This is quite an interesting discussion we are having here , so was I just reading all you replies and just had this in mind I m sure you guys agree with the forces of Nature and Karma , things that cannot be merely explained using science , just because you cannot see , you cannot say it doesn't exists either , just like the magnetic spectrum , the point I'm coming to is Atheism is quite linked up with Satanism , please do correct me if I am wrong , if people oppose god then they should favor the devil in my terms if I feel you guys right.Right?

What is your logical argument exactly about non existence of god or whatever? And where did I ever claim that those things were existent or non existent? All I ever said was that Athiesm is just another form of a religion, which however you seem to have accepted in your own reply.
