Depends on the onboard vga u have not the memory.....If its Intel then don't expect much.......If its ATI or Nvidia then you will get some-what playable game play......

wc to EK. what an unusual configuration u have. :P

core 2 duo 2Gb & ONBOARD VGA.. ??? thats crazy... :D

Anyways hope you're going to buy a good VGA in the near future... :)

you may try some not ver hgh end games like. car games, strategy games... But the newest games may not be possible coz almost all of them require shader 3.0 which is something you cant see in onboard vgas... :(

Anyways

Cheers,

    First up Welcome to EK.

Why do you want to play 'new' games?
There are wonderful games that are old. Doom3, Half life 2, NFS older games, GTA up to San Andreas, Age of Empires(I,II, AoM), counter strike, Sims2, Hitman, The list goes on...

If you like a specific genre EK members will tell you a hundred games! :D

You can pretty much play any game that was made before 2006. That is a LOT of games. You also should be able to play less demanding modern games if you want to. Source engine games such as Left4Dead should work fine with low-med settings.

You should consider buying a mid-tier graphic card like 9500GT which you can get for a small amount of money(shouldn't cost you more than 5k)
