Networking help!!!

    I have following,

    • Huawei WiFi router (Dialog 4G)
    • Desktop PC
    • Laptop

    I need to transfer some files from the desktop PC to my new laptop.

    How can I do that? :dull: Need your help!! :)

    New World, Grand Line
    1. Connect the pc to the router using LAN.
    2. Connect the Lap to the router using WLAN.
    3. Share the folder with the files you want to share using sharing tab of the file in properties.
    5. Go to my computer in lap and go to "Network" in the left hand column. Then go to the PC.
    4. Access the files from lap and copy the files.
    Just google before opening a new thread. Or at least search the site.

    I searched a few times but I didn't get it. :dull: Actually, I couldn't find the right keyword to search. :baffled:

    I didn't know that it has been this simple. :D

    Router ඕනේ නෑ.. Ethernet/RJ45 cable එකක් ගහන්න PC දෙකට..

    network & sharing center > ethernet > ipv4 propertise > Use the following

    PC1

    Ip address 192.168.1.1
    Subnet mask 225.225.225.0
    Default gateway 192.168.1.3

    Pc2

    Ip address 192.168.1.3
    Subnet mask 225.225.225.0
    Default gateway 192.168.1.1


    Folder/Driver එක share කරන්න..

    Easy. first connect all devices to the WIFI adapter. If you don't have a wifi card in your PC, try using LAN cable.

    Device 1
    1. Share a folder.
    2. Open command prompt on one device, type "IPCONFIG" and press enter. Then search for a IP address.

    Device 2
    1. Open RUN (Win key + R) and type the IP address of device 1 and press enter.
