After lvl 15, the best thing to do is, collect enough dark elixir to update both heroes at the same time, otherwise have to wait more than a week for wars

but it is still possible to two star with one hero. it would be hard to keep enough resource to both heroes in the storage. but yeah. not having two heroes make it hard to attack and 3 star possibility is gone.
