A Sinhalese review would have been better.

    - Can you post a photo of the engine compartment?
    - Power shutters?
-How effective are the fog lights? Did you drive in a misty area to give a try?
    - Exterior looks quite good.

    Keep posting machan

next one is interior. I will post the exterior photos more and update the thread time to time

I've been following both your threads because I actually was interested to know the details of KWID as I would with any car in the SL market.

One thing I realized is that Elakiri is full of know-it-alls who seem to think OTHER people should buy the car THEY want.
If you take these threads, it's actually 10% about the KWID and 90% about pretentious a-holes shaming the OP's choice to buy it and promoting and comparing all kinds of other vehicles that do not provide any value to a KWID review.

One thing you all should understand is that people have different requirements, different opinions and different choices when it comes to buying a vehicle. Just because they didnt choose the car you would have bought don't make them idiots or inferior to you.

They are douchebags. I argued to rather go for a Japanese, so I'm probably a douche too.

I have however grown to not judge people based on what they ride. Sure an Audi or BMW would be my next choice but everyone has different priorities. I told someone else in the other thread to be friendly towards OP because he did a huge investment regardless of the outcome, and that deserves satisfaction no matter what.

Kudos to Shan for standing by his decisions. I hope he'd make the best of his car and drive carefully as should everyone else. I once wrecked my car is a very careful driver after that. I and my wife were fortunate enough to survive the crash (car was messed up as fuck, but only my wife had a small wound) and I'm rather deciding cars based on the safety.

You are kind of retarded. Because you have argued to force me to buy a Japanese old car when I have already bought the Kwid. Don't you think?

Exactly machan. was thinking the same. Really annoying to see all these "siyalla dath" fellows who wants to give their two cents to every thing. OP has bought a vehicle and he has put a review about it. if they dont wanna buy a KWID then dont buy. we all know there are better vehicles. Likewise no point arguing that other vehicles are better or not and insulting the OP on his purchase. Personally i dont like the KWID and would never buy one but thats my opinion. Congrats to the OP on his new purchase. drive safe. and nice review. will be helpful to people who wanna buy a KWID.

We actually don't care about what you buy. Hell, it's your money after all. But our problem is that you force your opinion about vehicle on unsuspecting people here. That's why we put our own two cents to let them see the other side of the coin.

Are you kwidding????? No I didn't force anyone. I just reviwed Kwid here because I was one of the very first users. In order to help other people as well.

And its freedom that elakiri provides. why do you have to put your side to a kwid review and related thread ???

and your points are all related to Japanese cars. what us the f wrong with you guys??

    You guys are retarded

Lets go under the kwid, This is really neat if you compare with the 2015 version. Cables are properly aligned and you can see that the ground clearance is pretty good in this vehicle

No one is retarded mate. Everyone is entitled to their opinion. This is a public forum and anyone with an elakiri account can enjoy their constitutional right to freedom of expression. :baffled::baffled::baffled::baffled:
On the other hand, it is better if people post on the other side of the coin as well so that the buyer or prospective buyer can get a better idea of the vehicle.
However what I don't like to see here is people doing silly comparisons with mid-end/high-end vehicles to these type of entry-level vehicles.
If you don't have a good knowledge of vehicles and repair issues, it is always better to buy a newer vehicle. Not everyone has the money or means to buy a new Toyota in this tax-ridden country. Be realistic. Neither does everyone have the time to spend in garages for repairs.
I just don't understand why you pundits don't care for other people's situations and advice accordingly.
In this country, the KWID is probably the best entry level vehicle available at the moment. Sure it has less features, less luxury and less safety than we would IDEALLY like, but nevertheless it certainly is good enough for regular use. How many Maruti's have you seen in accidents which have not been caused by driver fault? Very little. It is the same for higher end vehicles; if you drive safe there is less risk of injury. Know the limits of your vehicle and obey road rules. If you go at 150 kmph and lose a leg, don't blame the vehicle for it.
Please stop patronizing old Japanese junk for people who don't need it. If they are as good as these guys claim, garages would run out of business! Buy what you can and what you need. Idiocy is when you buy a AX1 when a scooter would suffice, just because it is Japanese or when you buy a 1998 fb15 rather than a 2015 alto just because it is Japanese.
If you like old Japanese stuff, buy it yourselves, but don't give rubbish advice to unsuspecting people.
BUT if you CAN afford a reasonbly new Japanese one and PERSONALY LIKE IT, definitely buy it and not an alto. :P

I've been trying to say and said more times that.this is a KWID thread, you dont morally have to discuss Japanese car here?? That is not a expression of freedom its smear stupidity, tyranny
