To be honest, i don't have any personnel connection to him or haven't done any business with him but he has a good reputation in the field. If you don't want to buy then that's fine. Go for a cheap laptop.

This is why people won't help each other out Coz of backstabbing bastards. You're entitled to your opinion and i am entitled to help somebody..

I am sure the guy runs a legit business and that is why EK members recommend him so much. Even I called him a couple of years back and back then he did not have easy payments.


But please do tell me about the Softlogic Warranty issue? I thought they are a reputable company??

Ooh mate sorry about coming hot. I hate these assholes hide behind a computer and being keyboard heroes for an hour. I humbly apologies for the hateful comment i made.

A cousin of mine told me couple of his friend's had some trouble dealing with the service warranty. They were not helpful at all when the fault is a factory one as well. He also had to go through a little bit of hard time to claim the warranty. But tell you what I reckon.

Buy a laptop from a reputable liberty or unity plaza store. BUT make sure the model is coming from the singapore region and has internstional warranty alright? This way you can avoid the lame laptop models sold by abans, softlogic and other companies. For anykind of warranty claim(laptop faults) go for DMS or Informatics Sri Lanka. They're the authorized service partners with HP. I have had such a pleasure with informatics service centre for my 2 laptops. Prompt sevice. I had to change my motherboard, 2 HDD within a short period of time after buying my second laptop (2014 i think). They were all factory faults. So they replaced the above mentioned parts straightaway from the original parts received from singapore HP service centre. No matter how many times you have to replace or claim the warranty for your laptop, they won't charge you a penny if your laptop is under the warranty period. I can't imagine any other seller would do this.
