To be honest I/we never own Peugeot. But my dads best friend is a die hard fan of Peugeot & now owns 508.. according to them 407 is a good car in terms of comfort functions stability etc.. never worried about fuel & never asked. They had most of Peugeot models from very old ones to 406, 407, & now 508

maintain cost is too high. Parts are expensive and not easy to find as toyota, nissan. Petrol consumption around 6 - 7 maximum in colombo city limits. not a good choice to buy if u looking for a cheap and low maintain car.
