mona full try da? rashford hoda shot ekak gahuwa echcharai. united football have fallen pretty low. 55mins gone and can't score against zorya.
    playing very lazy football.
how far is uk from ukraine? They have travelled for about 4,5 hours.. with a time difference & got a derby match against shaktar in two days.

maybe they'll win by scoring a late goal but when you compare the rising of liverpool under Klopp & man city under pep, united is not a top football club anymore. They may do an incredible performance once in a while and then do 2 or 3 shitty ones.

This is no longer a top club in football. Just a money factory

50,000 million euro team vs a 1,600 million euro team. With home & rest advantages. But is there much of a difference in the gameplay?

I'd say Zorya deserve at least a draw here.

These are some stuff some people wrote

"What I see is Man. Utd like a beginners to a 3rd class team "

    "Probably 0-0 final score.."

"Very poor play by them indeed, Zorya on the other hand really well organised and not afraid to attack."

    "Take aways
Rooney is still shit, super sub is a rotten dream
Ibra is Ibra, thank goodness he was there to put away the Rooney scuff
    Fellaini didn't fit
Need to figure out a replacement for Bailly as he'll probably be banned from all competitions at some point on red cards
    The youngsters should start"

"I would be so pissed if I were Zlatan. I don't think he thought he would have to come down to the centre circle to receive the ball at his feet when he joined. People give him flack for not moving enough but he runs in a cleaver way and never receives the ball. The amount of horrible passes through the middle is just crazy. Can anyone receive the ball and turn around and play it forward at the moment? Todays showing was awful (even though we won) and I'm starting to get frustrated that Rashford never passes the ball."

"That was fucking dire. And pogba needs to fucking run with the ball. Paid 89 million for fellaini v2"

If this keeps up with utd, I can see the potential match savers leaving the club if they have the ambition for greater things.

Probably we or barca or bayern will come calling for rashford. Although he doesn't relate to our playing styles very much he's a pretty good youngster. And he'll leave if this keeps up.
Maybe ibra too to mls or china even.
Fellani should definiely be benched. And they need a pair of world class cbs.
And should give more chance to youngsters.

Don't even want to talk about schweinsteiger incident.
Still don't understand why this idiot with a blond afro who has a brain the size of a peanut starts instead of being sold to a third tier division.

'My answer would be a big fat no' – Coleman rules out taking England job

    chriscoleman-cropped_b6ok509pw8u01ep6eozxkr6b3.jpg

Wales boss Chris Coleman has expressed his sympathy for former England manager Sam Allardyce but says he would refuse any offer to become his successor.

Allardyce left his post by mutual consent after the Football Association (FA) investigated remarks he made to undercover reporters about how to circumvent rules on player transfers.

Gareth Southgate has been placed in temporary charge, though English football's governing body are seeking a permanent boss in the dugout.

Quizzed on whether he would accept the job were they to approach him, Coleman – who led Wales to the semi-finals of Euro 2016 – was unequivocal in saying he would turn in down."That's football - we do well in six games in the tournament and it's great for us. That question would never have been asked to me before the tournament," he told reporters.

"My answer to the England job would be a big fat no, anyway. I think the next England manager should be an Englishman. It shouldn't be anyone from overseas; I don't care what his record is.

"Unless you're from that country you can never ever know what it means to represent that country. You'd never see Germany, Italy or Spain looking outside. Why should England look further afield?"Gareth, Brucey [Steve Bruce], that's where they should be looking. Certainly not a Welshman. Certainly not this Welshman."

The 46-year-old nevertheless spared a thought for Allardyce, who was removed from his position after only 67 days."I'm really disappointed for Sam," said Coleman. "I was with him last week in Paris for a coach's conference.

"I've known him for a long time, I knew how much he wanted the job and I knew how proud he was. I'm gutted for him that he's lost his job through events off the pitch rather than on the pitch.

"I knew how passionate he was, I think he would have done a good job. You'd expect England to qualify and then he'd be judged on the tournament."I know he'll be devastated. He made a mistake, he's admitted that, and it's a shame. Someone with his experience, he's just let his guard down and he's lost his job over it."

England job would be the pinnacle – Pardew

    alan-pardew-cropped_1ascqafd0q17v10zv1dfima9s8.jpg

Crystal Palace boss Alan Pardew says the England job would be the pinnacle of his career, but remains fully focused on his club.

Pardew is among the favourites to replace Sam Allardyce, who left his position with the national side on Tuesday less than 24 hours after the Daily Telegraph published footage claiming to be from a meeting in August between a pair of undercover reporters and the 61-year-old.

In the footage, Allardyce allegedly told two men purporting to be from a Far East investment firm how they might "get around" FA regulations concerning the transfers of players under third-party ownership.

Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe has already ruled himself out of the running and, while Pardew said he was "proud" to be linked, he stressed his loyalty to Palace and wished interim England boss Gareth Southgate well.

"Eddie Howe said this morning it was the pinnacle for any Englishman's career - I agree with that," Pardew said at his pre-match press conference ahead of Palace's match away to Everton on Friday.

"Of course I'm privileged and proud to be in that small group that is going to be linked with it - that I'm not going to shy away from."The other part is the focus I have to do here and return their loyalty to me, that won't shake, I won't let that happen to me.

"England have a good manager in charge with Gareth. He's been in the system, knows the players coming in. I have tremendous respect for him as a player, coach and manager.

"He has a bit of X-factor about him. Gareth has four games guaranteed and I hope he does well. I think he will do well."He will work very, very hard for England's players and these next few games are crucial for them."Coming back to myself, I'm very happy with where this club is right now. This football club right at this moment in time is where I want to be.

"I'm so lucky to have this football club where it is right now, the chairman and I have a great relationship. We have two American investors who have shown me great faith. I have a team I have a good feeling about."It holds a special place for me as I played here, that is where my focus is entirely right now."

Raiola: Juventus mad at me over failed Matuidi deal

    matuidi-cropped_2cvvyebf9o4nzso75tv9ri6r.jpg

Juventus are angry with him over their failure to sign Blaise Matuidi from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer, according to his agent Mino Raiola. The France international had looked set for a move to Turin during the last transfer window but the move was called off, with PSG chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi insistent that he did not want the player to leave.

Matuidi stated his disappointment at missing out on a new challenge but has since stressed that he is happy at Parc des Princes and is reportedly considering a new contract.

However, Raiola claims Juve are still angry at missing out on the 29-year-old, though he tried to placate the Italian champions by confirming that talks are not ongoing with PSG over a new deal.

"[Juve sporting director] Fabio Paratici's still mad at me, but it's not my fault," he told Rai Sport. "We discussed at length, but then the chairman of PSG intervened and blocked the deal."Paratici, however, doesn't have to get upset because it's not true that we're discussing the renewal of his contract with PSG.

"It's not easy to take players away from PSG [in January], but we'll see."Matuidi has been at PSG since 2011, making over 200 appearances and winning four Ligue 1 titles among a host of trophies since leaving Saint-Etienne.

No excuses for Liverpool at Swansea this time, says Klopp

    jurgenkloppcropped_2izmgbxjkbza1may7r2oy42sx.jpg

Jurgen Klopp says his Liverpool team have no excuses if they suffer another defeat at the hands of Swansea City.

Francesco Guidolin's team beat the Reds 3-1 at the Liberty Stadium in May and the two teams will do battle again on Saturday.

Liverpool have collected 13 points from their first six games of the Premier League to emerge as title dark horses, while Swansea have struggled with only four to their name over the same period.

Klopp insists the circumstances of this fixture are very different to the last meeting, which came between the two legs of their Europa League semi-final against Villarreal. And the German feels his players are much more prepared to secure maximum points in Wales.

"We shouldn't compare with the game last year," Klopp said in his pre-match press conference. "We lost there last year after coming back from Villarreal."It was a difficult week and we had to make a lot of changes in the line-up. In that moment it was too much for us.

"When we played at Swansea it wasn't the perfect moment. We knew about our problems – it was not about bad attitude."Now we have absolutely no excuses. We have time to recover, we have time to train and prepare. We try to show that every week."

Klopp does not think Swansea deserve to be sitting at the wrong end of the table given their performances so far in 2016-17."We will be prepared for this game. We know about the quality of Swansea," he added.

"They have played better than having four points looks like. They have different options with their style of play."We are still in development and we have to improve on technical things as a team. In this part of the season you create a base for the rest of the season.

"We have a job to do. We need to stay fit and have luck with injuries."It's been a good start but we have to build on it. We don't spend the whole week until the next game celebrating."We analyse and look to improve. It's much too early to be satisfied with anything this season."

Striker Divock Origi is a doubt for the match having sustained a knock on his foot, but Klopp insisted the problem was not major.

Wenger could be tempted by an international offer, says ex-assistant

    arsene-wenger-cropped_59kmx0ga5i1u17b89aidb5kcy.jpg

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger could be tempted by the lure of an international job, according to his former Monaco assistant Jean Petit.Ex-France international Petit worked with Wenger between 1987 and 1994, winning the Ligue 1 title in their first season together.

The latter has gone on to enjoy a successful 20-year managerial career with Arsenal, but, with his contract set to expire in June and Sam Allardyce leaving his post as England manager this week, Wenger has again been linked with the role.
However, Petit believes that job would be just one of a number of options open to the Gunners boss."I think he would be interested if Didier [Deschamps] quits [as France manager]," he told Omnisport.

"He could go to Germany because he speaks German fluently. Bayern Munich wanted him [when he was at Monaco]. He has a name. All the clubs in Germany, England or France with PSG would want him."Maybe the French team. But he could also manage the English national team - who knows - to finish [his career] with a national team. It could interest him."

While Wenger has stayed at Arsenal despite enduring a somewhat rocky relationship with the club's supporters in recent years, Petit adds that the three-time Premier League winner would have no problem leaving Emirates Stadium.
"At Arsenal, if he is still there, it's because Arsenal are afraid to let him leave more than him fearing to leave Arsenal," he added.

Sparta Prague 3-1 Inter: De Boer's men beaten again in Europa League

    rodrigo-palacio-sparta-praga-inter-europa-league_1s4qjm3p5b2dv14drcoqlr1j6g.jpg

Inter suffered a first-half capitulation and slumped to their second consecutive Europa League defeat as Sparta Prague ran out deserved 3-1 winners at Generali Arena.Striker Vaclav Kadlec scored twice in the first half of a contest in which Sparta were given an easy ride by an Inter defence that looked vulnerable throughout.

Rodrigo Palacio pulled one back for the visitors in an improved second half, but the game ended miserably for Frank de Boer's side as Andrea Ranocchia was sent off and Mario Holek scored late on to make it 3-1.

Victory over Inter gave interim Sparta coach David Holoubek a dream start to his time in charge, which began after Zdenek Scasny was sacked in the aftermath of a 2-0 defeat to city rivals Slavia.

Last year's Czech First League runners-up were billed as a club in crisis ahead of the game but it was Inter who looked out of sorts, and any rapport De Boer had built with Inter fans after three wins in their last four Serie A games felt rather fragile at the end of another sorely disappointing European performance.

Inter were caught out in the seventh minute when Felipe Melo misjudged what looked like a simple interception, allowing Borek Dockal's pass to roll through to Kadlec, who drilled the ball low into the corner of the net.

De Boer's side lacked shape and confidence early on and Jeison Murillo twice gave his team-mates a scare, first getting needlessly caught in possession by Dockal and then almost gifting the hosts a penalty after felling Kadlec.

However, with 25 minutes gone, Martin Frydek's simple free-kick found Kadlec completely unmarked and the striker was allowed to stride into the box unchallenged before slotting past Samir Handanovic.

Only a timely interception from Murillo stopped Ales Cermak making it 3-0 in a nightmarish first half for the visitors, as he raced to meet a Kadlec delivery that flashed across goal.Daniel Holzer created a similar chance for Vyacheslav Karavayev early in the second half as Inter's porous defence showed little sign of firming up.

Kadlec should have had a hat-trick when he beat Murillo for pace and clipped a shot over Handanovic only to see the ball clear the crossbar, but Inter at last began to gain a foothold on proceedings.Antonio Candreva offered some creativity with a good cross that Eder headed over the bar, before Palacio dragged Inter back into the game 19 minutes from time.

The Argentine forward played a one-two with Eder to cut through Sparta's defence and he placed his shot into the corner of the net, giving Tomas Koubek no chance.

Inter's comeback was short-lived, however. Ranocchia was sent off for a second bookable offence and when Ondrej Mazuch headed Kadlec's free-kick back across the face of goal, Holek nodded into an open net to wrap up a fine victory for Sparta.

Hapoel Be'er Sheva 0-0 Southampton: Saints stay top after goalless draw

    hapoel-beer-sheva-southampton-europa-league_sp95ywrooeic1m5bsfga18krq.jpg

Southampton and Hapoel Be'er Sheva remain level at the top of Group K in the Europa League after they played out a goalless draw at Turner Stadium.

Although the visiting Saints had been on a four-match winning run in all competitions, they never really got going in front of a hostile crowd in Israel and instead clung to a fifth consecutive clean sheet.

While Claude Puel's side had beaten Sparta Prague 3-0 at home and Be'er Sheva had travelled to Inter's San Siro and won 2-0 on matchday one, neither team found their attacking rhythm as the defences came out on top. With top scorer Charlie Austin rested, it was Virgil van Dijk who wasted Southampton's best opening with a header early on.

The home side, meanwhile, had to wait until the second half for a clear opportunity, from which Maor Melikson failed to trouble Fraser Forster. Both teams are now on four points with two games played, with Inter, the Saints' next opponents, bottom of the group.

Although the first chance fell the visitors' way, stand-in captain Van Dijk somehow nodded off target when James Ward-Prowse's typically brilliant delivery landed on his head just yards from goal.

Almost adding insult to injury, the Dutchman then meekly ceded possession on the edge of his own box but Maharan Radi's strike squirmed kindly into Forster's arms.

While the England goalkeeper held again when Tony Nwakaeme shot from outside the area, Be'er Sheva could not turn their considerable possession into further first-half chances.

Puel summoned Dusan Tadic from the bench - hooking European debutant Jake Hesketh - in the hope of gaining a foothold in a fairly one-sided affair, but the Saints' only effort caused a fracas when Nathan Redmond curled over as the hosts paused, expecting the ball to be knocked out for Matt Targett to receive treatment.

Southampton quickly stamped their authority on the second period, though, and David Goresh had to be down well to parry a powerful drive from Ward-Prowse.
However, with Puel's men then following suit in failing to create shooting opportunities, Be'er Sheva should have soon led.

Some shoddy defending left Nwakaeme free to pick out Melikson on the right side of the box but, as Ben Sahar raced forward in support, the Israel winger pulled his finish wide of the first post.

While another opening saw Nwakaeme drag off target, Forster beat away Ovidiu Hoban's effort and had little difficulty in seeing out another shut-out to earn a potentially vital point.

:love:Manchester United 1-0 Zorya: Zlatan on target as Red Devils scrape win

    manchester-united-zorya-zlatan_6uu7034mtnru1seuauxqg66kk.jpg

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's header handed Manchester United a 1-0 Europa League win against Zorya at Old Trafford on Thursday, with captain Wayne Rooney again benched by Jose Mourinho.

Despite Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and a string of star names being named in Mourinho's side, United could not break down the visitors' stubborn back line until deep in the second half.

Marcus Rashford hit the crossbar before the interval with a vicious shot from inside the box, but a game of few chances appeared to be drifting towards a draw that would have left United at risk of an early European exit.

Mourinho sent for Rooney after 67 minutes and he was soon involved in United's opener, albeit inadvertently, as his mishit shot looped up for Ibrahimovic to head home from a yard out, the seventh different club the Swede has scored for in European action.

Having lost 1-0 at Feyenoord in their group opener, United needed a positive response against the Ukrainian side to boost their qualification hopes and they face a tough double-header against Fenerbahce next.

United are third in Group A despite their win, behind Fenerbahce and leaders Feyenoord, while Zorya bring up the rear with a single point from their two matches.Zeljko Ljubenovic had an early sight of goal for the visitors and shot over, before Marouane Fellaini glanced a header wide as a strong United team made a slow start.

Ibrahimovic went close after 18 minutes, but his deflected strike drifted just wide after playing a neat one-two with Pogba.

United scored three goals from corners against Leicester City in the Premier League at the weekend and they almost did it again from the resulting set-piece, Rashford's rocket of a strike cannoning off the underside of the crossbar.

Juan Mata could only divert a fine Pogba cross over after 38 minutes as United struggled to penetrate Zorya's sturdy defence, before Fellaini's downward header bounced over.

The second half had a similar pre-season friendly feel about it, with few chances for either side, and it took 66 minutes for either side to produce a shot on target.

Paulinho let fly with a curling effort from outside the box, but Sergio Romero dived to his right to turn the effort around the post, with Rooney almost immediately introduced by United.

It was Ibrahimovic who provided the only goal, however, with Rooney's mistimed effort from a Timothy Fosu-Mensah cross bouncing into the turf and hanging up perfectly for the veteran Swede to nod in from close range, with Zorya goalkeeper Oleksiy Shevchenko badly out of position.

An equaliser was never likely as United closed out the match with ease to record back-to-back wins following Saturday's crushing 4-1 victory over Leicester.

:yes:No way, Jose! Pogba must demand flop Fellaini is dropped

    marouane-fellaini-manchester-united-europa-league_1bprygfo5p17e1eljjxmxbc3bz.jpg

Jose Mourinho called Manchester United’s Europa League clash with Zorya Luhansk a “must-win” encounter on Wednesday, but their 1-0 victory at Old Trafford had the home fans pulling their hair out for long spells as they watched a team of superstars being undermined by the lack of creativity offered by Marouane Fellaini.

Paul Pogba might be the world’s most expensive player, but United still often show a worrying lack of ideas in terms of how best to cater for the Frenchman. And while he was far from at his best as the Reds laboured to three points, the presence of Fellaini in the role just alongside him helped to bring United down to Zorya’s level.

The home side spent far too much time playing into the hands of their opponents with frighteningly slow build-up play and too little movement between the lines. It is hard to imagine that the presence of Michael Carrick rather than Fellaini at the base of midfield would not have added for more to their attacking presence.

With none of Carrick’s vision and a fraction of the Englishman’s passing ability, Fellaini was hung out to dry by Mourinho from the second he was selected in the pivot role alongside Pogba. For all his endeavour, and the threat he can offer in the final third, the Belgian is simply not a playmaker.

His evening was best summed up midway through the second half when he won possession only to immediately give the ball away again. Having then snaked a leg around his opponent to regain the initiative, he simply fell on the ball and conceded a free-kick for handball.

Moments later the fourth official's board went up for the first time, but Jesse Lingard, rather than Fellaini, was hauled off. On came Wayne Rooney and while he immediately made an impact, it was far more inadvertent than he would have liked as he teed up Zlatan Ibrahimovic for the long-awaited opener.

Rooney was left in the open with an apparent tap-in from Tim Fosu-Mensah’s cross but completely scuffed his effort and saw it bounce up for Ibrahimovic to nod home at the far post instead. It was a goal which summed up United’s performance: ill-judged and fortunate.

While Fellaini has been persevered with at the heart of the engine room, Carrick has still started only one game since the Community Shield win over Leicester City on August 7 and that came against League One side Northampton Town in the League Cup. In fact, his 12-minute sub appearance against Claudio Ranieri’s champions at the weekend is his only Premier League outing under Mourinho.

After a performance of real verve and urgency in the 4-1 win on Saturday, with Ander Herrera supporting Fellaini superbly, this was a repeat of the frustrations of the Louis van Gaal era for which the former Everton man became a poster boy.
But if Pogba is going to become the smiling figurehead of the Mourinho regime, then Fellaini needs to give way to Carrick or Herrera sooner rather than later.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic expects more from Manchester United after they battled to a 1-0 Europa League victory against Zorya on Thursday, the striker heading in a second-half winner at Old Trafford.

United are third in Group A, behind Fenerbahce and Feyenoord, following a tight victory for Jose Mourinho's men, with captain Wayne Rooney again left on the bench.

Ibrahimovic scored for his seventh different club in European competition, but the veteran striker thinks United found it difficult to create space against a determined Ukrainian outfit.

"It was not an easy game," Ibrahimovic told BT Sport. "We played good and created some chances but it was a difficult game.

"If you don't score early the spaces get smaller and you have to find a way to score. After the goal, we had more space but it was a decent game. We won and that is what counts after losing against Feyenoord [on matchday one].

"If you want to go through you need to win the game and we won. We could do much more, I expect more from the team but we are playing well."We had a good game, we won, it's good for confidence. We need to step it up and do a lot more."

Ibrahimovic played down his role in United's goal, which came from their first shot on target, with substitute Rooney's mishit effort ballooning up for his close-range header.

"We play as a team," the Swede said. "We create as a team. We are trying. Sometimes we create a lot and sometimes we create less."The important thing is to create chances and be focused for when the chance came - and when it came it went in."
