i wish you lost the key :P and suddenly crashed OS :baffled:
after reinstalling OS, end of Sinhalese :dull:

    Awesome
I've started learning cryptography about 5-4 years ago, including mathematical formulas (AES-256 blowfish etc..)

    I heard bitlocker has backdoors

Bitlocker is the safest option currently available.
Even Truecrypt is not a trusted app at all. they also suggest you to transfer ur data from truecrypt to Bitlocker

    Here is a nice trick

Create a virtual hard disk file using DISKPART command in command line (.VHD)

    Mount it

    Encrypt it with Bitlocker.

    Unmount.

Don't forget to do some research using these keywords
    "memory dump bitlocker bruteforce"

Hide your key in a NTFS Alternative Data Stream

Backup that key file or Upload it into your Lastpass secure note ;)

Activate 2 pass authentication system, (you can use google authenticator or Lastpass authenticator, or maybe some 3rd party app like Authy)

Finally Protect your email with 2 factor authentication

BitLocker is the Easiest way to Encrypt your Hard Drive.

for what possible reasons are you doing this ? do you not have any privacy on your home ? dad peeks at your pc ? random ppl comes to ur place and check whats on your hard drive ?

Idk bro, maybe cz sometimes they might be feeling like its kinda messy thing.
I encrypt everything. including my mobile and stuff. even my cloud data
using GPG and some symmetric encryption methods.
and adding few extra security layers like "Boxcryptor"

This is an interesting subject to me, ENIGMA codes +, I used to learn about quantum cryptography, related to photon and some other deep shit :D
    Look

that photon measuring system was a good solution to public key distribution problem (preventing MITM attacks) but it also breakable
