Color saturation is not a big thing if you are not going to do graphic designing or something similar. I would go for the extra INCH on the ASUS.

I Like the PLS than the IPS. Nice blacks and contrast. IPS has more accurate color though. For me Blacks and Contrast is more important than color accuracy.
