With Samaposha - Fulfill your protein requirement

    In Sri Lanka, lots of people have a common problem about how to fulfill their daily protein requirement without getting additional protein supplement. Today with this article I’m going to tell you how to get it just with one food which is not expensive as protein supplements but will do the work.

    Samaposha is one of the best in my opinion for this which is very high in protein content. And nowadays in Sri Lanka, people can find the same stuff under different brands names such as yahaposha and suposha. From all these, I think samaposha tastes the best, So I recommend you to get it. But other yahaposha or suposha will be ok if you like them.

    Now let’s see how to prepare this food properly to increase its protein content even more. As many people said me, eat samaposha only with sugar, coconut and hot water will not increase the appetite for this food. But there is another way to prepare samaposha, so you will be able to eat it every other day without losing your appetite.

    Let’s see how to prepare it in the best way possible. All you need is to have a samaposha packet and get 50 grams of it to a plate, then add two table spoons of powdered milk, one table spoon of nestamalt and one tea spoon of sugar. If you want more nutrition, you may add some sustagen as well. But sustagen is optional. Once you added all the four main ingredients together, mix it well. After that, add 300 ml of liquid whole milk to the samaposha mix and mix all 5 ingredients well until it becomes like a paste. Now it it ready for you to eat like cereal. To change the taste of this mix, you may add Horlics, Viva or anyother sweetener according to your appetite.

    Here are the nutrition you get from the above mix. From 50g of samaposha you will get about 10g of plant based high quality protein. From 2 table spoons of milk you will get at least 5g of animal based protein and with 300ml of whole milk, you will get another 10g of high quality protein. All together this samaposha mix will give you more than 25g of high quality protein and you will get a good amount of minerals and carbs as well.
    So you don’t need to use expensive protein supplements. All you need to buy the above mentioned food stuff. Note that, this only not enough for you to fulfill the daily protein requirement. This is only good to fulfill your nutrition requirement for a one meal.

    ow, soya godak kanna hoda neh, e unata tikak kawata prashnayak neh. normal quantities ok. bath kanawa wage kanna hoda natte.
