I don't think it will fail that soon, or it will actually have some sort of value, the reason is no country can put toleration on their control of funds, and it's basically virtual currency which you do not need to have, additionally it would be famous because none of it's transaction can be pin pointed to who actually paid who? so money laundering, illegal goods, and other things will be added to the equation.
