What is the logic behind blocking selected websites? Apparently ISPs do whatever they want.

    e.g.:
SLT blocks elakiri.com, lankaenews, facebook etc

Dialog does not block elakiri, lankaenews. but they block facebook, porn sites etc.
porn site blocking is done in DNS level, but facebook is completely blocked.

There were reports that etisalat was late to block sites. Some ISPs aggressively block VPNs while others do not.

    WTF TRC? WTF jahapalane?

and they didn't block twitter... what's the logic behind, not blocking twitter I'm sure they must have thought "sinhala gode bayyas don't use twitter.." "so there is no point blocking it" meanwhile tamil diaspora propagandists and ngos tweeted to the whole world that "sinhala buddhists are attacking muslims"..
